  4. Explain ways that implicit biases can negatively impact clients in minority groups. 
  5. Identify contributing factors and consequences of the opioid crisis in the United States.
  6. Define pain, including pathophysiology, stages, types, and risk factors.
  7. Understand basic infection control practices and how to apply them.
  8. Understand sepsis and the core elements of sepsis treatment and recognition.
