The last day to renew a New Jersey nursing license is May 31, 2024, and the renewal window open date is March 31, 2024.

To do this, you must submit a renewal application, pay a renewal fee ($120 for active, $60 for inactive), a late fee ($50), and an alternative to discipline surcharge ($5) to the New Jersey Board of Nursing. If you don’t renew your license within 30 days of its expiration, the board will administratively suspend you.
