This comprehensive course explores the complexities of adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC), a rare yet aggressive malignancy that originates in various secretory glands, including the salivary glands, as well as other tissues such as the lungs, breast, and cervix. Salivary Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (SACC) is a specific subtype of ACC that originates in the salivary glands. SACC is the most common malignancy of the minor salivary glands and the second most common in the major salivary glands (e.g., parotid, submandibular glands).
