Course Overview

Poor appetite and malnutrition are some of the most common challenges and complications that arise for those with chronic or terminal illnesses in palliative care. Due to the complexities of their health battle, their relationship with food becomes tenuous. This course will discuss medications and self-management strategies for patients to improve their nutritional status, including supplemental nutrition and tube feeding.
