Course Overview

Aortic stenosis is the most common valvular heart disease in the world. Once someone is diagnosed with a critical aortic stenosis, the mortality rate is quite high. Transcatheter aortic valve replacement TAVR is quickly becoming the procedure of choice to treat this disease. Designed for nurses at all levels, this course will delve into the TAVR procedure and describe the nurse’s role in pre- and post-procedural care.
