Course Overview

In this course, learners will receive an in-depth exploration of disaster response strategies related to wildfires, with a specific focus on the critical role of nurses. Participants will learn about the phases of disaster management—mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. The course will cover best practices for the role of nurses in emergency preparedness and addressing the needs of vulnerable populations.
