Course Overview

Healthcare professionals, including LPN/LVNs, RNs, and APRNs, should be aware of the signs, symptoms, and treatment recommendations for ectopic pregnancy. Since this can become a life-threatening condition, prompt identification and treatment can improve client outcomes, including client morbidity and mortality. This course briefly reviews ectopic pregnancy, its risk factors, clinical signs and symptoms, diagnostics, and management/treatment for all levels of nursing.
