Course Overview

Upon successfully completing this course, learners will explore the many benefits of in-home IV therapy and its advantages to patients. They will also be able to discuss the patients who would gain the most from at-home IV care, patient safety, and the nursing care process for this patient group. The course will also provide learners with the necessary information to deliver effective patient and family education to those receiving IV therapy at home. This course is intended for LPN/LVNs, RNs, and APRNs managing patients receiving at-home IV therapy.
