Course Overview

This course provides education on suicide prevention for nurses and provides insights and treatment guidelines in the identification and necessary interventions for high-risk individuals within the healthcare population. Suicide is a leading cause of death in the United States, and nursing caregivers must be sufficiently trained to recognize early signs and symptoms and intervene appropriately, thus, the occurrence of life-threatening behaviors.
