Course Overview

With high client ratios, complex cases, and other job demands, nurses need to feel support and to know that the work they are doing matters. A strong nurse leader can provide feedback to staff that will motivate them to want to learn and grow in their profession. Knowing how to do this takes some practice and is an extremely useful skill when working with various types of employees. Motivated nurses tend to avoid burnout, function at a higher level, stay at their jobs longer, and promote a healthier work environment. All of these factors lead to increased client satisfaction and quality. Designed for nurses at all practicing levels, this course will encourage leadership skills in the nurse, including how to provide feedback and motivate others.
