In this course, the nurse will learn how asthma affects patients, the healthcare system, and finances within the country. We will look at the pathophysiology of asthma, its signs, and systems to be able to educate our patients on the proper use of inhaled and oral medications. Most importantly, we will learn how to support these patients and teach them self-management skills.
