Course Overview

This course is being provided to nurses to learn and understand the history of SGLT2 (sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors), their mechanism of action, and the rationale for use in heart failure (HF). We will also examine the clinical criteria for a provider to prescribe them, their potential and actual side effects, warnings, and nursing considerations.
