Course Overview

This learning module’s primary purpose is to provide healthcare providers with evidence-based guidance on identifying candidates for tonsillectomy. It will explore the indications, contraindications, perioperative management, and postoperative care of those who have undergone a tonsillectomy. We will also examine the need for evaluation and intervention in special populations and improve patient and family education.
