Course Overview

This course is an overview of total parenteral nutrition (TPN) and lipids therapy. This course will provide an overview of TPN and lipid therapy basics, administration, contraindications, precautions, and management. Learners will explore the purpose of these therapies and ways to assess for TPN and lipid emulsion therapy success in patient care. This course is intended for LPN/LVNs, RNs, and APRNs.

Course Outcomes
