Tricuspid Valve Replacement

Contact Hours: 2

Course Overview

Tricuspid valve replacement is a complicated surgery with high risk. This treatment is often a last resort after medical management and valve repair have been attempted. While traditional methods to perform surgery have had poor outcomes, a minimally invasive transcatheter approach is seeing success with the avoidance of open-heart surgery. This course is intended to provide APRNs, RNs, and LPNs with knowledge and understanding of the cardiac system, valve structure, and indications of tricuspid valve replacement.
