The first thing you should do in your search is determine what your state-specific requirements are for nursing continuing education based on your licensure. Requirements change in some states depending upon whether you are an LPN, RN, or APRN. If the company is not ANCC accredited, you will want to make sure they are accredited/accepted in your state by other means.

What is their pricing structure like? Do customers pay per course? Does the company offer course bundles by state? Are they a one-stop-shop where you pay a flat rate and have access to all courses?

Search for user experience comments on convenience factors and CEU logistics such as the structure of the course content, how you receive your certificate or certificates, customer support problems and testing requirements.
