You can verify your license by filling out the license verification form available through the license renewal portal. 

13. What happens if I don’t renew my license before its current expiration date?

If you missed the renewal deadline, your license is now expired. You cannot practice until it has been reinstated by the board of nursing.

14. Is there a grace period to renew my license?

No.

15. How can I get my license active again?

You will need to complete a reinstatement application and mail it to the board. There is a fee schedule on the application that will help you determine what you owe, in addition to a $42.25 criminal background processing fee.
