  • Be currently certified or re-certified in the licensee’s specialty area of practice
  • 30 contact hours of continuing education and 400 hours of practice
    • If you have a license to prescribe controlled substances, at least 4 hours of continuing education must be about controlled substance prescribing.
      • 3.5 hours of approved controlled substance education and 0.5 hours from DOPL’s online controlled substance tutorial.
