  7. Identify the six stages of pressure injuries based on National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel guidelines. 
  8. List types of wounds that negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) may be used to treat. 
  9. Identify nutrient deficiencies that will impact wound healing. 
  10. Understand the different types of ostomies and their care techniques. 
  11. Define the 2 main types of diabetes and the preferred approach used to treat each of the identified disease processes.  
  12. Differentiate between hospice and palliative care.
