Does my state accept continuing education from Nursing CE Central?
Each state has strict requirement for license renewal. We have verified that the following Boards of Nursing accept continuing education from Nursing CE Central for purposes of license renewal:
- Arkansas (This is not an endorsement from the Arkansas Board of Nursing)
- North Carolina
Can I use your continuing education for license renewal?
Yes- the Boards of Nursing from California, North Carolina, Illinois, Louisiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Minnesota accept CE from Nursing CE Central. You will not have any issues with your license renewal.

How much continuing education do I need to renew my nursing license?

Does obtaining continuing education renew my license?
No- you will need to renew your license with your board of nursing. Obtaining continuing education is a requirement that must be complete prior to renewal in most states.
Who accredits Nursing CE Central as continuing education provider?
Nursing CE Central is an approved continuing education provider per the Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN).
Most states reciprocate and accept this providership, but a few do not. If your state is listed above we have verified that your continuing education from Nursing CE Central will be accepted for purposes of license renewal.
My state is not listed- does that mean continuing education from Nursing CE Central will not be accepted?
Not necessarily. Some states require special reporting via electronic systems that we do not currently employ. Other states require special courses which we do not offer at this time. If your state is not listed you should do your own due diligence to ensure that your continuing education will be accepted.
Will I have access to all courses after signing up?
We believe in simplicity and value. One price grants access to all courses for one year. You may access courses immediately after enrollment.
What is your refund policy?
We want to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase. We have a 30-day money back guarantee. So long as you have not completed any courses and received certificates, we will refund 100% of your purchase.
All refund requests will be processed within five (5) business days.
Courses and Certificates
Are the courses timed?
No. The number of contact hours is calculated based upon an average learner. It may require more or less time from you. We do not track the amount of time you spend in a course or on the website.
Is a test required for certificates?
No, there are no tests. You simply read the material and certify that you have read and learned the material. Once this is complete your certificate is available immediately.
How do I complete a course and recieve my certificate?

What happens if I lose my certificate?
Don’t worry – we keep your certificates on file for 5 years. We always recommend that you save your certificates, but we can retrieve them at any time for you.
I am unable to view my certificate after completing the course.
Please ensure that you have “completed” all modules in the course, including the evaluation. Once you do so your certificate should be available at the bottom of the specific course page.
Check that you are in the proper course and not the “view only” course.
If you cannot access your certificates after these steps, email or call us and we will take care of it.
Where can I view my certificates?
They will be stored in your profile. You can access this by hovering over your username on the top right of the screen.
I've lost my username and/or password.
You may enter your email as your username.
If you forgot your password, click the “forgot password” link.
If these don’t work, email us- we keep a master list and can quickly get you into your account.
